Membership Application & USA Patriot Act

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, all applicants for new accounts with the GYSAFCU are required to provide current picture identification that verifies their identity, including name, address, and other identifying information. 

In some cases, identification will be requested for current members if original documentation was not obtained with the opening of their accounts. 

Rest assured that we will only request the necessary information required by law and the use of that information is only for purposes of compliance with the Federal law. The privacy of our members and the protection of our members’ confidentiality is our top concern. We will respect and protect it, as always, while remaining consistent with the law's requirements.
